Privacy Policy

Under Your Keyboard generates passwords and passphrases through PHP and returns them to your browser over HTTPS.

Password handling

Generated passwords and passphrases are created by the server-side engine and returned securely to your browser over HTTPS. They are not intentionally stored, logged, or emailed by this site. Passwords entered into the checker are evaluated locally in your browser and are never sent to the server.

Storage

UYK may save local settings, such as generator preferences or presets, in your browser so the tool is easier to reuse. These settings are intended to store configuration choices, not generated passwords.

Analytics

Under Your Keyboard may use basic analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand site traffic and improve functionality.

Analytics may collect general usage information such as page visits, browser type, device type, approximate location, and interactions with site features.

Generated passwords, passphrases, and password checker entries are not sent to analytics tools.

Important reminder

Do not test passwords you currently use on important accounts unless you trust the device, browser, and network you are using.
